John Malone is chairman of Liberty Media Corp., the largest shareholder in Formula One and Live Nation Entertainment. He was a pioneer of the cable television industry and serves as chair emeritus of Warner Bros Discovery Inc.’s board. This interview was edited for clarity and length.
I think some of them that are heavily sports-oriented will continue. If they have live content, there’s always going to be a public interest in those. The ones that are general entertainment will have to morph into streams.
