Euronext to Replace Teleperformance on Benchmark CAC Index

Euronext NV will replace Teleperformance SE on France’s blue-chip CAC 40 index, the Paris bourse operator said, reflecting the diverging fortunes of the two companies.

As of the end of Thursday, shares of Teleperformance, which has been hit hard by the growing use of artificial intelligence technologies, had fallen about 24% this year compared with a 27% jump in Euronext, which operates exchanges in France, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal, and has been expanding. The CAC index advanced 6% in the period.
