Airbus Says Delivery Goal Achievable, Conditional on Engines

Airbus SE can achieve its aircraft delivery target for the year, though handing over 820 planes depends on receiving engines that remain difficult to source, Chief Executive Officer Guillaume Faury said.

The company managed to achieve its own goals in July and August, Faury said at an aviation conference at the US Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday. That’s put the company in a good position to reach its target for the year, provided engine makers hand over their equipment, he said.
