Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. introduced two battery variants designed specifically for Europe’s electric vehicle market, underscoring its growth ambitions in the region.

The lithium iron phosphate batteries combine long ranges with either high charging speed or long life. The Chinese manufacturer presented them on Sunday in Munich ahead of the IAA Mobility auto show in the German city.
