Publicis Groupe SA shares rose to the highest in five weeks after Chief Executive Officer Arthur Sadoun expressed confidence in the second half of the year, after the company had previously warned of a potential advertising slowdown.

“We can fairly say that we had a good summer,” Sadoun said Wednesday at a Bank of America investor conference. “What we have experienced is first the marketing cuts that we have discussed in Q2 did not appear.”
