JPMorgan Hires Hedge Fund Manager for China Health-Care Banking

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has hired hedge fund manager Jane Wu to lead China healthcare investment banking, as the industry emerges from a multi-year rout.

Wu will start her new role in Hong Kong on Sept. 29, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News. For the past four years, she has been chief investment officer of Springhill Fund Asset Management (HK) Co., a healthcare specialist hedge fund firm whose assets peaked at $550 million in November 2021.
