US Warns of More Strikes After Attack on Purported Drug Boat

US Shoots Out Drug Boat From Venezuela, Trump Says

The Trump administration threatened more strikes against narco-traffickers in the Caribbean Sea after targeting a boat allegedly laden with drugs from Venezuela, killing 11 people, even as questions arose about the legality of the move and whether it was an unnecessary act of aggression.

“It won’t stop with just this strike,” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in an interview with Fox and Friends on Wednesday morning. “We knew exactly who was in that boat, we knew exactly what they were doing and we knew exactly who they represented.”
