The Greek government is poised to unveil new relief measures for the country’s ailing middle class after a fiscal turnaround that was barely conceivable during Europe’s sovereign debt crisis.

Deploying a surprise windfall from markedly higher revenue that looks set to continue, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will present an array of giveaways in a speech this week that could lay the groundwork for him to extend his reign as Greece’s longest-serving leader in more than two decades.
