Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey cast further doubt on an interest-rate cut later this year, effectively endorsing market pricing that sees little prospect of another loosening at upcoming meetings.

Bailey signaled that he is wary over rushing into more rate reductions, warning on Wednesday that there is “now considerably more doubt about exactly when and how quickly we can make those further steps.”
