North Korea Shows Off ICBM Plan as Kim Prepares for China Visit

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un unveiled a plan to develop a new intercontinental ballistic missile, renewing his push to advance the country’s weapons program just as he prepared to arrive in Beijing for rare meetings with his Chinese and Russian counterparts.

Kim showcased the plan while stopping at a chemical materials research institute under the country’s missile bureau on Monday, shortly before departing for China on a special train, the official Korean Central News Agency said on Tuesday.
