Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez committed to complete his term even if his government’s allies in parliament reject his latest budget proposal.

“The budget is a tool, not an end in itself,” Sanchez said in an interview with public broadcaster RTVE on Monday evening. The socialist leader added that his goal is to create jobs, grow the economy and reduce inequality.
