Portugal Raised to A+ by S&P With Debt on Downward Path

The rating was upgraded to A+ from A with a stable outlook, S&P Global Ratings said in a statement Friday. Earlier this year, the credit rating firm lifted Portugal’s rating to A from A-, with a positive outlook.
