NY State Comptroller Warns of $10 Billion Budget Shortfall From Health-Care Cuts

“We need to start planning now so we can avoid the kinds of changes in terms of cuts and revenue impact that could hurt New Yorkers,” DiNapoli said in an interview on Bloomberg Television. “If folks don’t have health-care coverage they’re still going to show up at the hospital emergency room. If they are not covered it will have to paid for somehow.”
