FDA Curbs Covid Shot Access as RFK Jr. Takes Tougher Stance

US regulators have approved updated versions of the Covid vaccine, though a much smaller group of people will be eligible to receive them this fall after Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took aim at the shots earlier this year.

The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday cleared Covid shots that target strains related to the prevailing JN.1 variant of the virus.
