Crowdsourcing Hedge Fund Gets $500 Million JPMorgan Commitment

A crowdsourcing hedge fund backed by the billionaire Paul Tudor Jones looks poised to more than double in size with a big influx of cash from JPMorgan Asset Management.

San Francisco-based Numerai LLC says it has secured a commitment of as much as $500 million from JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s asset-management arm to be deployed over the next year. The quantitative firm currently runs about $450 million.
