Vornado to Buy Offices Above Saks Fifth Avenue for $218 Million

Vornado Realty Trust agreed to buy an office condominium above Saks Fifth Avenue Inc.’s flagship department store in New York.

The Manhattan-based landlord is buying the 36-story, 382,500-square-foot (35,500-square-meter) office condos at 623 Fifth Ave. for $218 million, according to a statement Monday. Vornado expects to close the purchase in September.
