Norway Leader Plans $8.5 Billion in Aid to Ukraine in 2026
Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store said he plans to spend $8.5 billion in aid for Ukraine in 2026, which would be largely in line with the nation’s contribution this year.
The Nordic country has pledged 85 billion kroner ($8.4 billion) in 2025 as part of the government’s long-term aid program for the war-torn nation. Store will need backing from lawmakers for next year’s plan.
