NZ PM Says RBNZ Should Have Cut More in Rare Comments

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said he personally agrees that the Reserve Bank should have cut the Official Cash Rate by 50 basis points last week.

NewstalkZB radio host Mike Hosking on Monday asked whether the prime minister agreed that the RBNZ should have been more aggressive. In response, Luxon said: “Personally, yeah I do.”
