Keurig Dr Pepper Said Near $18 Billion Deal for JDE Peet’s

Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. is close to a deal to acquire European coffee company JDE Peet’s NV for about $18 billion, according to a person familiar with the matter, as the company works to boost its struggling coffee business.

A deal may be announced as soon as Monday, said the person, who asked to not be identified because the discussions are private.
