FanDuel and CME Alliance Opens Door to Sports-Prediction Market

CME Group Inc. is ready to break into the sports-prediction market if its new partner FanDuel chooses, building on the exchange operator’s ambitions to reach a broader audience.

Chicago-based CME would offer sports event-based contracts should FanDuel, the online gambling division of Flutter Entertainment Plc, decide to add them to its platform, according to CME Chief Executive Officer Terry Duffy.
