Valentino Fashion House Names Mayhoola’s Riccardo Bellini as CEO

Italian fashion house Valentino SpA named Riccardo Bellini as chief executive officer, choosing a veteran from its majority owner Mayhoola to replace Jacopo Venturini, who departed this month.

Bellini, a former CEO of Maison Margiela and Chloé, most recently has been managing director of Mayhoola, the Qatari investment fund that owns a 70% stake in Valentino. He starts on Sept. 1, according to a statement Wednesday. French luxury house Kering SA owns the remaining 30% of Valentino.
