Alaska Air’s New Loyalty Program Lets Flyers Pick Their Plan

Alaska Air Group Inc. debuted a new loyalty program that will let members choose from three options to earn award points, the first such offering in the US industry.

Under the Atmos Rewards program unveiled Wednesday, members can opt to earn based on the distance they travel, the price paid for the ticket or the number of flight segments flown starting in 2026. Alaska Airlines currently uses mileage, while most US carriers now base awards on the amount spent.
