Robusta Coffee Set for Weekly Jump on Supply Woes in Top Growers

Robusta coffee was on track for the biggest weekly gain in at least 17 years in London, as concerns over tight supplies from the two largest producers keep the market on edge.

Futures for the variety most used in instant coffee rose as much as 3.2% on Friday. Prices are up 15% this week, the most since 2008. Top robusta grower Vietnam is entering its off-season, when the harvest is smaller, limiting available supplies.
