Four former presidents of Peru are now in jail at the same time, a record for the country if not the world.
The newest addition came on Wednesday when a Peruvian judge ordered ex-President Martin Vizcarra to five months of pre-trial detention on corruption allegations. He joins three others currently incarcerated in a presidential prison specifically built with former heads of state in mind. The facility now risks overcrowding.
