Burger King Owner’s Sales Recover on International Growth

Restaurant Brands International Inc.’s sales accelerated in the second quarter, with the company’s business outside of North America leading the growth.

Sales at established restaurants grew 2.4% in the second quarter, the parent of Burger King and Tim Hortons saidBloomberg Terminal Thursday. That’s faster than the preceding three-month period and slightly above the average analyst estimate. Restaurant Brands’ international operations, which account for about 40% of total sales, outperformed expectations.
