Altice Cuts 1,000 Jobs in Portugal as It Implements AI

About 800 workers signed up to a buyout program in July, said Jorge Felix, president of the Union of Altice Portugal Workers, adding to the 200 who had already agreed to leave. A spokesman for Altice declined to comment on the job cuts in Portugal.
