Advanced Micro Devices Inc. shares fell on Wednesday after the company failed to deliver a clear outlook for resuming sales in China, a crucial market for the second-largest maker of artificial intelligence processors.

As part of its quarterly earnings report Tuesday, AMD declined to predict Chinese sales of the Instinct MI308, an AI processor that the company designed for the Asian country.
