Engie Profit Slumps on Lower Nuclear and Hydropower Output

French energy supplier Engie SA said first-half profit sank 19% on lower prices, declining market volatility and a drop in nuclear and hydropower generation.

Net recurring income fell to €3.1 billion ($3.54 billion) from €3.8 billion a year earlier, prompting the biggest drop in shares in more than a year.
