The four people killed in the mass shooting at 345 Park Ave. in Midtown Manhattan on Monday came from all walks of life.

There was a New York City police officer who was active in his Bronx mosque; a Blackstone Inc. executive and Yale graduate involved in Jewish philanthropy and the arts; an unarmed security guard; and an employee of Rudin Management, the New York City real estate firm that owns the 44-story tower.
