Kellanova said it’s on track to remove synthetic food dyes from its retail foods by 2028, following similar moves from other packaged-food companies as President Donald Trump’s administration pressures the industry to remove the additives.

The maker of Eggo waffles and Pringles potato chips said the dyes will be eliminated from foods provided to US schools during the 2026-2027 academic year.
