JFK Lifts Ground Stop Caused by Disabled Aircraft on Runway

New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport has lifted a temporary ground stop put in place due to a disabled aircraft on the runway.

The US Federal Aviation Administration had put out an advisory earlier Friday saying it was halting departures for a brief period of time because of an “aircraft emergency.”
