EasyJet Says Profit Growth Was Hurt by Fuel Costs, Strikes

Disruptions from industrial action by air traffic controllers in France have cost the airline about £15 million, while rising fuel expenses have amounted to £10 million, the UK budget carrier said on Thursday. Shares fell as much as 8% in London, taking the stock down 11% in value so far this year.
