The brand and intellectual property of the infamously disastrous 2017 Fyre Festival was auctioned online for $245,300, or just 0.9% of the $26 million that the New York-based founder was ordered to pay his fraud victims.

The festival was listed on eBay Inc. by founder Billy McFarland, who tried to relaunch Fyre after his imprisonment for defrauding investors. McFarland sold luxury packages but delivered wet tents and cold cheese sandwiches.
