EU Calls X In for Talks After Grok Chatbot’s Antisemitic Posts

Officials from the European Union will hold talks with representatives from Elon Musk’s X after the company’s Grok chatbot caused outrage by spewing antisemitic posts on the platform last week.

The EU’s executive branch will hold the technical meeting on Tuesday, Thomas Regnier, the European Commission’s spokesperson for digital affairs, confirmed. Regnier called it a “usual step” in the commission’s supervisory work.
