Petro Confidant Says She’s Out of Colombia’s Government for Good

Colombia’s outgoing foreign minister, a key lieutenant who was seen as a moderating influence on President Gustavo Petro, says her time in government is now over.

Laura Sarabia confirmed to local news outlet Cambio that she resigned last week because she lost an internal battle over the production of passports.
