Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said he’s likely to speak with Donald Trump as early as Friday following the US decision to halt the transfer of artillery rounds and air defenses to Ukraine.

The move by Washington earlier this week caught Kyiv and its allies off guard and came just days after Russia hit Ukraine with one of the biggest air strikes since the full-scale invasion began nearly three-and-half years ago.
