Trump Accused by 20 States of Sharing Medicaid Data With ICE

Twenty state attorneys general are seeking to block the Trump administration from sharing personal health data with the Department of Homeland Security for immigration enforcement in a lawsuit to be filed Tuesday.

The Department of Health and Human Services transferred Medicaid data files containing millions of individuals’ personal health records to Homeland Security last month, California Attorney General Rob Bonta said in a news conference Tuesday.
