Paramount Global is in advanced talks to settle a lawsuit filed by US President Donald Trump that alleges the company’s CBS network deceptively edited a 60 Minutes interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris.

The parties asked a federal judge in Texas to delay any proceedings until July 3, according to a filing Monday. Trump has sought $20 billion from Paramount, claiming the interview was edited to make his political rival look better. A mediator has proposed a $20 million settlement, the Wall Street Journal reported last week.
