South African President Cyril Ramaphosa canceled an international trip at the last minute to deal with a potential crisis within his coalition government.
Ramaphosa was due to attend a conference on development financing in Seville, Spain, on June 30, but delegated to International Relations Minister Ronald Lamola “following recent political developments that require close monitoring and management in the country,” the presidency said in a statement Saturday.
