Trump’s Base Grew Younger and More Diverse in 2024 Win

That’s the conclusion of a new Pew Research Center analysis released Thursday, offering the clearest picture yet of how Trump’s victory represents a continuing realignment in US politics. The three-time candidate became only the second Republican to win the national popular vote since 1988 — in part by boosting turnout among his supporters and drawing new strength from Black, Hispanic and naturalized voters.
