UK Urges Iran to Grasp Opportunity to Return to Talks

The UK has urged Iran to de-escalate and return to talks with the international community following the announcement of a ceasefire in its conflict with Israel.

“The key thing is that we have now a period where we have de-escalation,” UK Science, Innovation and Technology Secretary Peter Kyle said in an interview Tuesday with Bloomberg Television. “I urge Iran to use this opportunity, and it is an extraordinary opportunity that is now before them, to de-escalate and return to a political process.”
