Portugal Increases Time Required to Get Citizenship to 10 Years

Individuals from Brazil, Angola and other nations that belong to the so-called Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries will have to wait seven years to obtain citizenship, while other foreigners will need to wait ten years, Presidency Minister Antonio Leitao Amaro said after a cabinet meeting on Monday.
