France’s Dassault aerospace and defense dynasty, one of Europe’s wealthiest families, is transferring more power to the fourth generation of heirs.

Laurent Dassault, 71, was replaced by sons Julien, 46, and Adrien, 41, on the supervisory board of Groupe Industriel Marcel Dassault SAS, according to a regulatory filing. The move follows a generational shift that began in 2021, when Héléna Meilhan took the seat of her late father, Olivier, who died in a helicopter crash. He was the brother of Laurent and two other siblings, Thierry and Marie-Helene, who remain on the board.
