Israel Says Some Gas Supply to Egypt May Resume Thursday
Israel may resume some natural gas exports to Egypt and Jordan as early as Thursday, though any initial volumes will be small, Energy Minister Eli Cohen said.
Israel shut down production at its biggest gas field Leviathan on June 13 after it launched airstrikes against Iran, stopping supplies to import-dependent Egypt, which in response reduced flows to several of its industries. Shipments to Jordan were also cut off, forcing the country to temporarily suspend supplies to its factories.
