Sheinbaum Expects to See Trump Soon After Meeting Canceled

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum expects to meet Donald Trump soon after their planned encounter was canceled when the US president departed early from a Group of Seven summit in Canada.

Sheinbaum, who took office last October, has yet to meet in person with Trump despite major trade, migration and security issues that cross the shared border of the two neighbors.
