Probe into Ex-DWS CEO Over Greenwashing Dropped by Germany

German prosecutors dropped their criminal investigation into ex-DWS Group Chief Executive Officer Asoka Woehrmann over greenwashing allegations at the investment arm of the Deutsche Bank AG.

The probe closed on Tuesday with the consent of a local court, Frankfurt prosecutors said in an emailed statement. Since Woehrmann has no criminal record and is no longer working in the capital market sector there was no public interest in continuing the case, they said.
