Europe Gas Erases Gains as Fear of Wider Middle East War Eases

European natural gas erased gains on reports that Iran signaled it’s willing to de-escalate the conflict with Israel, easing concerns of a wider war in the energy-rich region.

Benchmark futures settled little changed on Monday, in volatile trading that saw the contract jump 4.5% at one point and later fall as much as 1.5%.
