Greek grid operator IPTO SA is seeking compensation for delays to getting licenses for seabed surveys that are needed to complete what’s set to be one of the world’s largest power links.

Plans to develop the link connecting Cyprus and Israel to mainland Europe have been disrupted by ongoing disagreements with Turkey over maritime bordersBloomberg Terminal in the eastern Mediterranean, delaying the surveys. Last July, Turkish warships surrounded a vessel carrying out surveys related to the project between the Greek islands of Karpathos and Kasos.
