Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he’d reshuffle his government in July, defending his record in power as he sought to rally his ruling coalition ahead of a confidence vote in parliament.

Speaking to lawmakers in Warsaw on Wednesday, Tusk struck a defiant tone after the defeat of his ally in June’s presidential election. The result of that ballot laid bare tensions in the ruling coalition and sparked calls for Tusk to step down, prompting the premier to call the vote to shore up his leadership.
