Coffee Falls as Traders Focus on Ongoing Brazilian Harvest

Coffee prices fell in New York and London, erasing earlier gains as investors once again focus on an outlook for ample supplies, especially with the harvest progress in top shipper Brazil.

The most-active arabica futures contract lost as much as 2.2% in New York. Futures for robusta, a cheaper variety used in instant coffee, settled 3% lower in London.
